Abstract
Knowledge exchange is often discussed as a relationship between universities and external organisations. What happens when it is designed into the classroom itself? This presentation examines an engineering group-work framework in which students hand over their work to another team, reflecting the need to understand and build on other people’s ideas in professional practice. Surveys before and after the handover are explored using AI-based visualisation alongside conventional assessment measures. The approach offers educators another perspective on individual understanding and the exchange of knowledge within a classroom.
